By: Julia Magdei
We are still being updated on the latest news about the massive earthquake that destroyed both Turkey and Syria on Monday, February 6th. So far, more than 41,000 people have been killed due to the disastrous effects of the earthquake. Those who have not been killed have been injured, with over tens of thousands of people. Children, teenagers, and families are homeless with temperatures dropping to sub-zero. Deserted people can get hypothermia, which is when the body loses heat faster than it can produce it. There are a variety of different ways to help today. 1. Donate. There are a ton of websites that give to the cause. 2. Continue to pray. People in Turkey and Syria are devastated over how much they have lost. No one can amount to how they are feeling. But, you can pray for the people in these tough situations.
